KATIE LEWIS, M.A., LPC ASSOCIATE

Katie is a Counseling Associate under the supervision of Zach Herrin, LPC-S. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. She continued her education at UT Tyler, receiving a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
With a client-centered approach, Katie enjoys walking with clients as they explore their physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. She strives to create a genuine relationship and safe space for those to reflect, heal, and explore their experiences. She believes that through mindfulness and acceptance we can find appreciation for where we are and take the journey of where we'd like to go with greater confidence.
Katie enjoys working with young adults and those navigating identity and new life roles. She has experience providing support to students in a university setting. She has also learned in a non-profit setting, where alongside clients she has explored abuse, trauma, grief, and marriage and relationships.
