MARY GRAVES, M.A.
LPC, NCC


Mary is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She attended the University of Texas at Tyler where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2018, and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020.
Mary has experience in the school system as a social-emotional learning counselor and in non-profit and private practice settings. Mary specializes in working with children, adolescents, and parents utilizing play therapy techniques. She enjoys working with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, and grief. Mary is trained in EMDR and TraumaPlay therapy and is in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
Using a Person-Centered approach to counseling, Mary considers it a privilege to walk alongside children, adolescents, and families as they move through the highs and lows of life, emotional distress, behavioral issues, traumatic experiences, and wounded relationships. Mary brings a hopeful spirit when partnering with her clients to create a safe environment for healing, growth, and building strong connections within family systems.
