Our Solace Counseling Team
Matt Ravanesi M.A, LPC Associate
Supervised by Millie Tanner LPC-S
Are you and your partner feeling stuck in patterns of conflict and disconnection, wondering how things got so far off track? Maybe conversations escalate quickly, or the silence between you feels heavy and unresolved. Perhaps you're walking through the pain of infidelity, feeling overwhelmed and unsure if healing is even possible. You long for closeness, meaningful connection, and a relationship where you feel seen and heard.
You may also be facing a personal struggle—wrestling with anxiety, anger, depression, or isolation that’s left you feeling powerless. Or maybe you’re navigating the painful cycle of pornography use or sexual addiction. You’ve made promises to yourself and others to stop, but find yourself back in the same place—exhausted and unsure what to do next.

Wherever you are in your journey, I believe healing and hope are possible. I take a collaborative, integrated approach to counseling and incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapies to support individuals and couples through life’s most difficult seasons. I have completed training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2), which allows me to walk alongside couples dealing with trauma, affairs, addiction, and domestic violence. I also hold training in helping individuals address pornography use and sexual addiction.

Before entering the counseling field, I graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.B.A. in Entrepreneurial Management. My passion for people led me to work in ministry settings for over 20 years, including youth ministry, Christian camping, and church leadership. I later earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, pursuing what I believe is a deep calling to walk with people toward restoration.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with teens, college students, young adults, and married couples. I also care deeply about foster care and adoption—my wife Jennie and I were a licensed foster family and welcomed young children into our home, supporting both them and their biological families along the way. We’ve been married for 15 years and are raising two teenage daughters together.

I am Prepare/Enrich Certified and currently see clients under the supervision of Millie Tanner, LPC-S.
